Catch Phrase

Not the best FHE activity.  It was fun but it wasn't as fun as it could have been.  I think part of the problem was not everyone was good at the game, and that we weren't friends, just a group of random people.  Still, it was fun.  And short.  After we played two games we had blondies (a dessert) and then everyone left.  I think the fact that it was short made up for it not being as fun as it could have been though!

Halloween Party!

So this FHE was super basic. I decided to have a Halloween movie/ice cream party. I passed around a sign-up sheet for people to sign up for ice cream toppings and also let them vote on a halloweenish movie. I brought ice-cream to the host apartment and when everyone showed up with toppings and bowls we dug in and had ice cream sundaes!

The movie we ended up watching for the activity was The Mummy. However, the options I included were:

-Beetlejuice
-Monster House
-Disturbia
-Red Eye
-Strangers On A Train
-Hocus Pocus
-Casper the Friendly Ghost
-Ghostbusters
-Monsters Inc.
-A Nightmare Before Christmas
-Corpse Bride
-Coraline

It took me forever to think of all these movies, so I thought it would be nice if I included them. It was a pretty fun activity. Mainly I think people just liked eating ice cream.
